Cleveland County Sheriff & # 39; s Office MPs helped locate a Connelly Springs man suspected of shooting a man in a Vale store Friday afternoon.
Terry Lee Peeler, 51, is wanted for assault with a lethal weapon to kill and cause serious injuries, according to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.

Both vehicles returned to the Halfway Supply parking lot. Everyone got out of their vehicles and a gunshot hit the driver of the truck, identified as Jimmy Drew Peeler. He identified his uncle Terry Lee Peeler as a shooter, according to the publication.
The two vehicles, driven by Terry Lee Peeler and Jimmy Frank Peeler Sr., fled the scene on NC Highway 10 to Cleveland County, where they collided and then ran off their vehicles.
Cleveland County Reps and K-9 units, with assistance from Lincoln County Sheriff's Rep and Highway Patrol Jimmy Frank Peeler Sr., located his ankle injured and he was taken to Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby for treatment.
Peeler Sr., 40, was arrested and charged with an offense against an officer and a traffic citation for driving a license.
